4 Keys To Your Best Tryout Ever
Spring Baseball is right around the corner and tryouts have been announced. High School Baseball for the San Joaquin Section starts up on February 6th.
With 8 weeks to go before the tryout, the very best players in the Sacramento Region are well into their off season workouts. That said it is not too late to join them.
If you are in High School, 8 weeks is still enough time to see substantial gains that will lead to your best tryout ever. For position players, it is time to get started on building the five tools. A good 8 week plan consists of the following:
1. Strength and Conditioning 3 Days A Week (best to work with a professional coach). The Hard 90 HS Combine is working with Our House and seeing phenomenal gains. Sprinting should also be part of your strength and conditioning program.
2. Throwing Program - 5-6 days per week. This is not just for pitchers - position players should be preparing their arm too. The Hard 90 HS Combine with working with Caleb Balbuena. Private lessons are a great way to dial in your pitching mechanics ahead of the season. Our instructors will also help you develop a throwing program.
3. Hitting - 3-5 days per week. High School Hitting offers the best value in Sacramento for hitters. Players can come 7 days a week and work with professional instructors. With 8 weeks to go, our bat exit speed training will yield good gains ahead of the high school season.
4. Fielding - 2-3 days per week. Players that work the field tool in the off season see the best results. Our instructors will be happy to work with you in Private Lessons or Power Infield to help you develop the ideal off season fielding workout program.
