Every spring, thousands of players across the Sacramento region step onto the field for Little League season. For many families, it’s one of the most fun times in youth sports — playing with friends, learning the game, and building a love for baseball.

At Hard 90 Baseball, we believe those years are incredibly important.

But for players who are starting to love the game a little more, practice in the backyard a little longer, and ask a few more questions about how to improve, there’s often curiosity about what travel baseball looks like.

That’s exactly why we created our Introduction to Travel Baseball program.

Little League Friendly Development

First and foremost, this program is Little League friendly.

Players can continue enjoying their Little League season while getting access to elite training and developmentalongside players who are already part of Hard 90 travel teams.

We don’t believe families should have to choose between enjoying Little League and developing at a higher level.

This program allows players to do both.

Train During the Week. Compete on Sunday.

Our format is designed to give players a complete developmental experience without overwhelming their current schedule.

Players will:

• Train during the week at Hard 90• Focus on core skill development — hitting, fielding, throwing, and baseball IQ• Participate in comprehensive team-style practices on Sundays

Sunday sessions are designed to simulate what travel baseball actually looks like.

Players will work alongside current Hard 90 travel team players who are also playing Little League, giving them a chance to learn from athletes already experiencing both environments.

It’s one of the best ways for players to see what the next step feels like.

Learn the Hard 90 Way

For more than 20 years, Hard 90 has trained many of the top players in Northern California.

Over 500 athletes have gone on to play collegiate and professional baseball, but the foundation of everything we do begins at the youth level — teaching players how to practice, compete, and love the process of improvement.

Our Introduction to Travel Baseball program focuses on:

• Building strong baseball fundamentals• Developing confidence in a competitive environment• Learning how advanced players train and prepare• Understanding what travel baseball really involves

Is This Program Right for Your Player?

This program is a great fit for players who:

• Love playing Little League but want to improve faster• Are curious about travel baseball• Want more instruction and structured development• Enjoy being around players who take the game seriously.

It’s designed to be a low-pressure, high-development environment that gives families a clear look at what the next step could be.

The Best of Both Worlds

Players can enjoy their Little League season with friends while also benefiting from some of the best baseball training in the region.

For many families, it becomes the perfect bridge between recreational baseball and travel baseball.

And for players who simply want to get better, it’s one of the most effective ways to accelerate their development.
