Hard 90 Senior Spotlight: Three Hard 90 Athletes Make It Official on Early Signing Day
November 12th marked National Early Signing Day, one of the most meaningful milestones in a high school baseball player’s journey. Early Signing Day is the first opportunity for student-athletes to officially sign their National Letter of Intent (NLI), locking in their commitment to play college baseball. It represents years of training, discipline, and resilience—and at Hard 90, it’s a moment we celebrate with pride.
This year, three longtime Hard 90 athletes signed their NLIs: Jordan Walczykowski, Owen Lesser, and Ryan Hubbard. Each has developed through our system, trained under our coaches, and embraced the Hard 90 mindset. Today, we spotlight their journeys and celebrate their next steps.
⭐ Jordan Walczykowski – University of San Diego

Jordan Walczykowski has trained at Hard 90 since the age of six, spending more than a decade in our program and becoming one of the most complete outfielders we’ve ever developed.
A key member of H90 Clutch, Jordan is known for his elite instincts, high character, and tireless work ethic. His blend of athleticism and baseball IQ earned him the rare distinction of being a two-time Area Code Games selection—a testament to the level of player and leader he has become.
Now starring in center field at Jesuit High School, Jordan anchors the lineup both offensively and defensively. He officially committed to the University of San Diego, joining one of the nation’s premier academic and baseball programs. USD is gaining a true competitor who embodies the Hard 90 standard every time he steps on the field.
⭐ Owen Lesser – USC Upstate

Owen Lesser joined Hard 90 when he moved to Carmichael and quickly became part of the H90 family. He trained and competed with Hard 90 through junior high before continuing his baseball journey at Jesuit High School.
Owen is a big, physical right-handed pitcher with the size, presence, and mound composure that project to the Division I level. His steady development, competitive mentality, and ability to pound the zone earned him a spot at the Area Code Games, placing him among the top arms in the region.
On Early Signing Day, Owen made it official—committing to USC Upstate, a rising Division I program with a strong track record of developing pitchers. He brings a powerful frame, disciplined work ethic, and a true pitcher’s mindset to the Spartans.
⭐ Ryan Hubbard – Santa Clara University

Ryan Hubbard began training at Hard 90 when he moved to El Dorado Hills, joining our High School Hitting Program and High School Combine. From day one, Ryan showed the traits our coaches value most: focus, discipline, and an eagerness to learn.
Now a standout at Oak Ridge High School, Ryan has developed into one of the region’s most powerful hitters. He is known for his strength at the plate, consistent barrel accuracy, and advanced approach. Ryan’s game is built on power, discipline, and smart situational hitting.
His Early Signing Day decision sends him to Santa Clara University, a top academic institution and competitive Division I baseball program. The Broncos are getting a strong, driven hitter who thrives on preparation and detail.
A Proud Hard 90 Tradition
At Hard 90, our mission is to train high-character athletes who compete with purpose, discipline, and heart. Seeing Jordan, Owen, and Ryan reach this milestone is a reflection of years of work—by the athletes, their families, and our coaching staff.
Congratulations to all three Hard 90 signees. Your journey is just beginning, and we are proud to have been part of it.
