Area Code Selection for H90 alum

Hard 90 Baseball Congratulates Jordan Walczykowski on Selection to Area Code Games

We are thrilled to announce that Hard 90 Baseball alum Jordan Walczykowski has been selected to participate in the prestigious Area Code Games in Long Beach. Jordan, a class of 2026 left-handed hitting centerfielder from Jesuit High School, earned all-league honors for his stellar play as a sophomore, and his hard work and dedication have now earned him a spot in one of the nation's most respected high school talent tournaments

.

The Area Code Games, which began in 1986 as a small regional event in Lodi, California, were founded by Bob Williams in collaboration with Northern California Major League Scouts. The goal was to identify and showcase the top underclassman players from different geographical areas, determined by their telephone area codes. Today, the Area Code Games have grown into a premier event, attracting scouts from all 30 Major League teams and top NCAA coaches. Participants compete using wood bats and don the uniforms of their respective Area Code Teams Major League.

The 2024 Area Code Games will take place from August 5-8 at Blair Field in Long Beach, California. This invite-only event, selected by MLB scouts, is a significant opportunity for young athletes to showcase their skills on a national stage. The event is free for participating athletes, ensuring that the best talent can compete without financial barriers.

Jordan's selection is a testament to his exceptional talent, hard work, and dedication to the game. As a centerfielder who projects all five tools—hitting, hitting for power, throwing, fielding, and running—Jordan embodies the high standards and commitment to excellence that Hard 90 Baseball strives to instill in all our athletes.

We are incredibly proud of Jordan and excited to see him represent Hard 90 Baseball at the Area Code Games. This achievement highlights the strength of our training programs and the hard work of our coaches and players. Jordan's journey from Jesuit High School to the Area Code Games serves as an inspiration to all our athletes, demonstrating what can be achieved with dedication, perseverance, and passion for the game.

Please join us in congratulating Jordan Walczykowski on this outstanding accomplishment. We look forward to watching him shine at the Area Code Games and wish him the best of luck as he takes this exciting step forward in his baseball career.

Go Hard 90!
