Hard 90 Baseball is extremely excited for the upcoming Little League and Pony Baseball Seasons. Since our inception in 2005, Hard 90 has been a supporter of Little League and Pony Baseball. Little League and Pony Baseball are extremely important to the baseball community as they offer playing access to all athletes from beginners to experienced. Speaking of community, leagues run with the right intent and mindset are great opportunities to unite the local people.
Through our experience, we have found that one of the keys to a successful season is for players to hit the baseball in games. 2-3 times every game, your player is put on center stage. If your player hits the ball well - many are happy with the game. If your player does not hit the ball well - many are frustrated with the game.
As Ted Williams once said, "the hardest thing to do in sports is hit a round ball with a round bat - square." Unfortunately, this is one of the hardest things for coaches to practice efficiently at a baseball field. Many time players are only getting 10 to 20 practice swings a week - which is not enough for most players to hit the ball successfully in games.
For this reason, Hard 90 Baseball created Power Hitting. Power Hitting creates the opportunity for your player to train with a professional instructor 1 hour per week with 5 other youth players. In this session, players will train a dynamic warm up, perform posture drills, execute the Hard 90 Tee Progression, develop an effective mindset and approach, and assess monthly on the HitTrax System - a state of the art hitting simulator.
