Playing Time

Playing time is the single biggest friction point in youth sports. In today's society of instant gratification, parents want to see their player on the field, in the big moment, at the right position - with a shot to do something special. The opportunity to emulate their professional heroes.

That said, to become that professional hero or even reach your full potential in life, the work ethic behind the desire to succeed in the moment is what is important. The game winning home run, the big game pitching performance or diving catch happens over and over in practice before it happens in a game on the big stage.

Elite players don't question the coach about playing time - they set a standard to be demonstrably better than anyone else on the field - so when it come time to make the lineup their is no question who should be playing their spot.

So what are you waiting for - let's start training!
