The Hard 90 Slam had an exceptional weekend at the All World Baseball March Madness Tournament over the weekend. The team posted a 3-2 record - winning two exciting games on Sunday before running out of gas in the Championship.
The Slam offense carried them all weekend posting 35 runs and 37 hits in 5 games. The defense made plays when it counted. This team made up of players fairly new to the travel ball scene showed steady improvement and this Championship run was the pinnacle of the short season.
Hard 90 is looking forward to watching these guys tear it up in Little League and looking forward to their return over the summer. The coaching staff of Matt Hutchins and Tom Urbani is extremely proud of the development in these fine young men!
