In 2005, Hard 90 Founder, Rick "Sudsy" Sundberg started year round baseball camps to teach young players baseball fundamentals. Sudsy and his team of professional instructors create a fun and competitive environment to teach the game of baseball.
In recent years, Sudsy has teamed up with Coach Matt "Hutch" Hutchins to run the best youth camps in the Sacramento Region. This dynamic duo runs baseball fundamental drill stations in the morning - teaching campers about the 5 tools in baseball.
In the afternoon, campers are treated to fun games that reinforce the 5 tool skill development learned in the morning. Camper favorites include Wiffle Ball on Sudsy Field, HitTrax Games on the state of the art hitting simulator, Homerun Derby on HitTrax and Over the Line.
In addition to skill development and games, campers learn some of the life lessons from baseball through "Sudsyisms" = 12 o'clock and 70 degrees, PU (purpose and urgency), WIN (What's Important Now) and Paper, Wood and Rock.
Hard 90 still has limited room in Spring Break Camp and plenty of room in Summer Camp!
