Hard 90, Trosky Baseball and College Baseball Match invite you to a college baseball morning like no other.
Unlike other college information nights with information about colleges, showcases and how to get your son the most exposure, we will be hosting an open forum with some of the best minds in baseball:
Paul Cogan - Special Assistant Amateur Scouting for the Los Angeles Dodgers (who has drafted more players that have reached the MLB than any other professional scout) will be on hand to discuss the 5 tools and the measurable and most importantly, trainable elements.
Tom Kunis- AA Pitching Coach for the Ogden Raptors (Los Angeles Dodgers), Former Pitching Coach for Stanford Baseball University, Head Assistant Coach at San Jose State and Head Coach at Ohlone Junior College will be on hand to discuss the colligate level of play and commitment required to play from a junior college all the way through to a Division 1 Baseball Program.
Nate Trosky- Owner of Trosky Baseball an organization that has had 94 players drafted and over 450 players that have gone on to play college baseball in the last 5 years, will be leading a discussion on the 6th tool (baseball IQ, mindset, mental make-up) The 6th tool is the great separator on the road to college baseball.
Roc Murray- Founder of College Baseball Match and former HS Baseball Coach for the last 33 years will talk about how to make the most out of your high school season on your recruiting journey. He will also discuss in detail the key statistics college coaches look for when recruiting players.
This group we have assembled has knowledge and experience that is immeasurable. They want to share with our athletes the information that will help them to be successful in their dream to pursue college baseball, whether it be D1, D2, D3, NAIA or the best JC. (and, NO, it's not spending a fortune chasing every showcase and college camp that sends you a letter!)
In addition to the informational aspect of the day, each player will leave with
* Individual assessment on the measurable and trainable elements of the 5 tools (giving you a baseline from which to train to pursue your college dream)
* A recruiting strategy to forward your college goals during the upcoming high school season and into summer.
* The 4 key elements from which to base a college selection decision.
