Coach Needles is from Carmichael, CA and has been playing baseball since he was 6 years old. He attended Del Campo High School, where he played for his high school baseball team. He also played for the American Legion, and for Sierra College.

Coach Needles has been coaching at Hard 90 since March of 2022. He is currently offering private lessons, and is the assistant coach for the 12U Future Travel Ball team.
